Accessibility

A website and service that are easier to use and understand.

We want Barker's Aesthetics information to be clear and usable for as many people as reasonably possible. If something on the website creates a barrier, please tell us.

Our approach

Clear information, flexible communication and reasonable adjustments.

Accessibility is not only about the website. It can include how information is explained, how appointments are arranged and whether practical adjustments are possible.

Readable content

We aim to use clear headings, readable contrast, meaningful link text and layouts that work across common screen sizes.

Questions welcome

If written information is difficult to understand, ask us to explain it in another way.

Appointment adjustments

Tell us about access, communication or practical needs early so we can discuss what can reasonably be arranged.

Home Visits

One possible option not the only adjustment.

Selected home visits may help some clients, but they are considered individually and depend on the service, location, suitability and safe working conditions.

Known limitations and ongoing checks

We do not claim that every part of the website has passed a formal accessibility audit. We aim to maintain and improve heading structure, keyboard usability, colour contrast, alternative text for meaningful images and mobile readability.

Ongoing review: We continue to review readability, keyboard use, colour contrast, image descriptions, form labels and mobile usability as the website develops.

Need information another way?

Use the Contact / Enquiry page and tell us what would make the information easier for you to access. We will consider reasonable alternatives where possible.
