Advice before action.
Every treatment journey should start with a proper conversation. A consultation helps us understand your concerns, check suitability, explain options and make clear when treatment may not be appropriate.
Simple, considered and centred around you.
01Talk
Tell us what is on your mind, what you hope to change and what questions you have.
02Assess
We consider relevant health information, suitability, expectations and practical factors.
03Plan
Options, limitations, risks, likely aftercare and alternatives should be explained clearly.
04Decide
You can ask more questions, take time to think or decide not to proceed.
No-pressure approach
A consultation is not an obligation to have treatment. You should feel able to say no, postpone or ask for more information.
Realistic expectations
Results vary. We do not promise a particular outcome and we will explain when expectations may not be realistic.
Prescriber assessment when needed
Some pathways require an independent assessment by an appropriately qualified prescriber before a prescription can be considered.
Aftercare planning
Before proceeding, you should understand the aftercare, likely recovery and how to contact us if you are concerned.
Information that helps us give better advice.
Please do not send detailed medical information through a general website enquiry unless we specifically ask you to use an appropriate route.
A prescription is a clinical decision — not a booking option.
If a prescriber assessment is required, the prescriber must make their own decision based on the individual consultation. Seeing a prescriber does not mean a prescription will be issued.
